A woman that exemplifies Love, Humility and Giving. She attended New Nazarene and confessed Christ at the age of 8, under Pastor Gilbert Leigh leadership, where she attended Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also served as a Junior Usher and was a part of the Choir.

Later First Lady became a member of The Temple of God, under the leadership of Bishop Lois Ann Gardner Powers. There she served in various ministries. 

First Lady Hurns minored in Criminal Justice and later followed her passion for children and pursued her career in Child Development. She now serves as the facility Director for St. Jude Educational Institute.

Pastor Hurns and First Lady married in 1995. They have two lovely daughters, Kryslin and Barbara Hurns. 

She has a heart to nurture, impart wisdom, give guidance, to a generation yearning to experience the true love of God.

First Lady is the director of the children and youth ministry at Be Blessed. Her passion is to reach children of all ages, to let them know their value and worth to God and to society.
